I know there are the Logistic and Gompertz function but was wondering if there any other models. RE: Math models for population increase - Kevin - 12-22-2021 There is The Club of Rome and the book "The Limits To Growth". They did all of that but I don't think they gave out any formulas but they did complete a world model. RE: Math models for population increase - Dry0dark-10 - 12-23-2021 This isn't quite related but it may to lead to something interesting. My project I did was using a variation of the SEIR model. It is a compartmental model that simulates disease spread on a population. You might be able to model population by itself with compartmental models. Could work. |
