Metamorph league found a buff into the Arc ability, raising its chaining radius to a better range. While casting Arc is a feasible option, a more interesting way of enjoying an Arc personality is by supporting the ability with traps. Traps may benefit from passive nodes trap-specific support gems, and a few of the Saboteur's powerful ascendency notables. Throw a bunch of these Arc traps in a bunch of enemies or a boss and they will die. Maps aren't cleared by them as fast but they're simple to equipment and do not need game knowledge.
