Quesiton - GameMaster6 - 07-22-2024

A rectangular garden has a length that is twice its width. If the perimeter of the garden is 48 meters, what are the dimensions of the garden?

Let the width be xxx. Then the length is 2x2x2x. Perimeter = 2(length + width) 48=2(2x+x)48 = 2(2x + x)48=2(2x+x) 48=6x48 = 6x48=6x x=8x = 8x=8 Width = 8 meters, Length = 2x = 16 meters
