The larger number is x+12x + 12x+12. x+(x+12)=45x + (x + 12) = 45x+(x+12)=45 2x+12=452x + 12 = 452x+12=45 2x=45−122x = 45 - 122x=45−12 2x=332x = 332x=33 x=16.5x = 16.5x=16.5 The two numbers are 16.5 and 28.5. |
