  AMC 12 Preparation
Posted by: quince00 - 12-11-2021, 05:14 PM - Forum: Grade 9 - 12 - Replies (7)

Hi, I am a student in grade 10. I love math and I think I want to take the AMC 12 in grade 11. Here is my plan:
- Finish AOPS Volume 1, Volume 2, and Calculus
- Learn how to write proofs
- Complete every AMC 10, AMC 12, USAJMO, USAMO, and IMO problem I can find on the internet
Is it good or do I need to do more? Or is this too much?

  Anymore math to invent?

Hi everyone, I'm currently a high school student and I want to be a mathematician when I grow up. I want to be a mathematician that discovers and makes new math, like the ancients such as Aristotle. Problem is, I don’t know if there’s any more math left to find. Literally every time I find something new in math, I find out that it has already been discovered and it's sad. Open to any of your opinions.
